In 1998, plans began forming for a new Vineyard
in the Tri-Cities area of the Fox Valley. Two churches would be
co-sponsors - the Elgin Vineyard and Servant's Church in Batavia.
Servant's Church decided to contribute all their resources to the
effort and Trinity Vineyard began Sunday morning meetings in October,
1998, in the Batavia Middle School with four pastors - Dan Rak,
Bruce Duncan, Paul Regan, and Mike Finlon.
Since then, Bruce has been sent out to the Vineyard Leadership Institute
in Columbus, OH, for some additional training before planting another
church;
Mike has been sent out to Romania to teach in a Bible school; and
Pat Bailey has joined the pastoral staff. In 2001,
Trinity Vineyard purchased a beautiful old church building in St.
Charles and had a grand opening on September 9th of that year.
